Delaware County Rich in Culture, History and Commerce
Delaware County, Pennsylvania Delaware County Council partnered with the Brandywine Conference and Visitors Bureau to create an informational video that highlights the cultural, historical and recreational highlights in the County. The video was filmed at the historic Rose Tree Tavern in Rose Tree Park, Upper Providence, which was renovated and reopened in June. Council Chairman Jack Whelan joins fellow Council members Vice-Chair Christine Fizzano Cannon, Tom McGarrigle, Andy Lewis and Mario Civera Jr. in presenting this video for County residents. “We are proud of our county -- its past, present and future. And we are eager to share with you some of Delaware County’s attractions,” Chairman Whelan said. A good place to learn about Delaware County’s attractions is at the Brandywine Conference and Visitors Center. Copies of the Delaware County video are available for use by cultural, non-profit and civic groups interested in informing residents about Delaware County attractions. To receive a video, contact Trish Cofiell, Communications Officer for Delaware County Government, at 610-891-4943 or cofiellt@co.delaware.pa.us.
