The late date to file Appeal From Real Estate Assessment Of 2011 was August 1, 2010. The Appeal From Real Estate Assessment Of 2012 will be available after March 1,2011.
Commercial, Residential & Exempt Appeal forms are available between March 1st and August 1st and can be obtained below, in person or by calling 610-891-4879. Appeal filing must be filed by August 1st. (or the next official business day should August 1 fall on a weekend). Hearings will be held in September and October. Notification of hearing date will be mailed 20 days in advance of the hearing. Appeal results are mailed November 15th.

Special Note: Residential & Commercial Appeal forms consist of 2 pages. First page is the Instructions for Filling Appeal. The Second page is the Appeal Form. Exempt Appeal form consists of 4 pages. All pages must be submitted at time of filling.

Catastrophic loss can be filed anytime within 6 months of the catastrophic event. Please supply documentation of the catastrophic event.

Forms must be mailed or dropped off, along with the non-refundable Processing Fee for each appeal filed. All Appeal Forms received without the non-refundable Processing Fee WILL NOT be processed. DO NOT FAX APPEAL FORMS. Forms must be date stamped at the Board of Appeals office, located on the ground floor of the Government Center Building. It is recommended that you keep a copy of the form for your records.

Comments: An appeal from a decision of the Board must be made within 30 days from the Boards issuance of findings. This appeal is made to the courts through the Office of Judicial Support <http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/ojs/index.html> (OJS). There is a filing fee. Call OJS at (610) 891-4370 for details.
