Community Assistance

General Information

The Community Assistance section, with its focus on multi-municipal planning, provides local planning services and technical assistance to the County’s 49 municipalities to help them address development and redevelopment issues.  Among these consultant services are the preparation of updated municipal comprehensive plans and implementation strategies, zoning ordinances, and specialized studies from blight reports to base closures; grant writing assistance; and finding funding sources to carry out any of these projects.
