Instructions and Procedures for Judicial Sale in PDF

Judicial Sale will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 9:00AM in the County Council Meeting Room, 1st floor of the Government Center Building, 201 West Front Street, Media, Pa. 19063.

Pre Registration will take place at the Tax Claim Bureau, Ground Floor of the Government Center Building, 201 West Front Street, Media, Pa. 19063.
Date: MAY 1, 2 & 3RD from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
NO REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE SALE…

The purpose of the sale is to offer the properties to the highest bidder free and clear of all tax and municipal claims, mortgages, judgments, charges and estates of whatsoever (Due at the time of sale) (except ground rents separately taxed). Subject to service requirements of the Rules of Civil Procedure.

A registration fee of $600.00 will be required for admittance into the public sale. Registration fee must be paid by treasurer/cashier checks or money orders made out to the Tax Claim Bureau. The registration will admit 1 (one). Fee will be applied towards the purchase of property/properties; it is non-refundable if sale is not finalized. If no purchase is made the fee will be refunded. No registration on the day of the sale. Time and dates of registration listed above. Registration dates will be listed at the time the properties are published.

The initial bid shall start at $ 600.00 plus state and local transfer tax and all recording costs. The Bid price must be paid by treasurer/cashier check or money orders payable to the Tax Claim Bureau. Separate treasurer/cashier checks or money orders will be required for the state and local transfer tax and costs. All payments must be paid no later than 1 (one) hour before the close of business on the day the sale is held or at such other date and time designated by the Bureau.
