A free discount prescription card is being offered to county residents by Delaware County Council. With a mission to make prescription medicine affordable to everyone regardless of financial status or insurance coverage, Trust Scripts is accepted at over 56,000 pharmacies nationwide, including chains like CVS and Wal-Mart. Residents simply present the card to the pharmacy cashier before payment and available discounts are applied to the cost. The card is helpful for people without prescription coverage, for senior citizens in the Medicare Part D coverage gap and for people taking medication not covered by their own insurance program.
