County Council and public health partners conduct outreach for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

Give Children the Gift of Health Insurance - Delaware County Council and CHIP Coalition Announce Holiday Outreach Campaign

Delaware County Council is reaching out to Delaware County families to make sure they know that all children in Pennsylvania have access to health insurance. 

Council continues an initiative to educate families about the availability of Pennsylvania's free and low-cost health insurance program (CHIP) with the goal of obtaining health insurance for children who are uninsured.  Through the Department of Intercommunity Health Coordination, CHIP applications are available to Delaware County families.  Staff is also available to assist residents with questions and the application process.

In addition, Council and Intercommunity Health Coordination work with a coalition called Insuring Delaware County's Children, today in an effort to increase the enrollment of children in PA CHIP.
