The Everyday Lives Advisory Committee is a committee composed of stakeholders involved with the Mental Retardation system as well as representatives from the community at large. Together they work to see that citizens of Delaware County have self-determined lives. The Committee is guided by the principles and beliefs of Everyday Lives. The role and function of the Committee is to advise the Delaware County Office of Mental Retardation on matters that relate to self determination. Delaware County OMR seeks to have a diverse group of committee members, representing various disabilities and from neighborhoods all throughout the County of Delaware. The Committee meets monthly at The Delaware County Intermediate Unit, 200 Yale Avenue in Morton. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every month except the month of December from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
