in Delaware County
Are you in need of emergency food? Here is information about resources in Delaware County that can assist you:
Delco Interfaith Food Assistance Network (DIFAN): DIFAN’s twelve member food centers provide government-donated food assistance to needy individuals and families living in Delaware County.
The twelve DIFAN centers are: Chester Eastside Ministries, New Jerusalem Church (Chester), St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (Chester), Upper Darby Food Center, First United Methodist Church (Media), Church of the Nazarene (Sharon Hill), Mt. Zion CME Church (Sharon Hill), St. Mark’s United Methodist Church (Broomall), Bernardine Center (Chester), True Vine Missionary Full Gospel Baptist Church (Chester), Christ Tabernacle Church (Morton), and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry (Prospect Park).
Family and Community Service administers the program for Delaware County and coordinates the distribution of food to the DIFAN centers and other participating organizations.
