Controller - Edward E. O'Lone
Edward E. O’Lone was elected to the post of Delaware County Controller in November 2009 and took office in January 2010. He brings over 30 years of experience in auditing and accounting from both the public sector and private industry to his County position.
Mr. O’Lone received his bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia. A licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a state and national member of the Government Finance Officers Association.
Mr. O’Lone holds the position of Director of Finance for a local municipality in Delaware County and he serves as a volunteer member of his parish finance council in Newtown Square. A resident of Marple Township since 1988, he lives with his wife, Rosann, and their two sons.
