Information About New Online Voter Registration Process in PA

Qualifications to Register

Qualified Citizens may register to vote at the Voter Registration Office, all State and Federal agencies, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, or by mailing a registration form acquired at Municipal Government Buildings, Libraries, and at State Wine & Spirit Stores. Residents can also register online.

All other forms must be returned to Voter Registration, Government Center Building, 201 W. Front Street, Media, PA 19063.

In the future, the county will begin to update registration with digital signatures thereby eliminating the 12 hundred binders, which must be prepared each election. Certified tabulations are sent to the State bi-annually; monthly certified reports are now also required. Street lists of Delaware County's 406 Precincts are prepared bi-annually and distributed to candidates.

The Department of Voter Registration under the direction of Mary Jo Headley, Chief Clerk/Director, is located on the ground floor of the Government Center Building and may be reached by phone - (610)891-4659 or by e-mail - TDD/TTY - 610-891-4306.
