Personnel

The Personnel Department under the direction of Robert J. White, coordinates the hiring, promotion, reassignment rotation, performance evaluation and discharge of all employees. Personnel maintains job descriptions and a classification evaluation program for bargining unit employees and maintains all employees personnel record.

The County's Affirmative Action Program and Employee Benefits are coordinated by Personnel, which also supervises all labor relations matters, including negotiations and collective bargaining and participates in all matters pertaining to grievances and arbitrations.

Personnel and Employee Benefits continues to monitor the County's self funding programs workers compensation and medical insurance. Record keeping and monitoring for all benefits including life insurance for all active and retired employees is maintained.
