The County Facilities Management Department is responsible for the daily operation of county buildings, equipment, janitorial and grounds at the Courthouse & Government Center Complex, the Emergency Communications Center, the Juvenile Detention Center and other county-owned buildings. The department, with an in house staff, provides services such as, but not limited to the following:
Routine Building Maintenance
Custodial Services
Grounds Care/Snow Removal
Departmental Renovations and Re-Locations
Furniture Design and Installation
Maintaining Environmental and Building Safety Controls
Works with County Police to Maintain Building Security and CCTV Equipment
Works with Central Purchasing to implement Contracts for Services/Supplies to save County Funds wherever possible
Works with the EPA to maintain our Buildings in such a way to protect our Environment
Works with Utility Companies to conserve our Natural Resources
