Judge Maureen F. Fitzpatrick

Judge Maureen F. Fitzpatrick was appointed to the Court on October 31, 1991, by Gov. Robert P. Casey and was elected to a full ten-year term in November of 1991. Before her appointment, she served as the District Justice in Marple Township and was in private practice. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, she is a graduate of Marple-Newtown High School, Gwynedd-Mercy College, Lebanon Valley College and Delaware Law School of Widener University. She is a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She has served as an Assistant District Attorney in both Philadelphia and Delaware County. During her tenure as District Justice, Judge Fitzpatrick served as the President of the Delaware County District Justice Association. She has taught courses at the Delaware County Community College and the Delaware County Municipal Police Academy.
