Judge Kathrynann W. Durham

Judge Kathrynann W. Durham was sworn in on June 18, 2001 as a member of Common Pleas Court after her appointment to the bench by Pennsylvania Governor Ridge. She has served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 160th Legislative District since her election in 1978. She was reelected eight times to two-year terms and served as Majority Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Committee. Other committee assignments included the Committee on Committees, Insurance and Ethics. [She was a member of the Pennsylvania Export Partnership Advisory Board.] Judge Durham is a graduate of Widener University and Delaware Law School. She taught Spanish and English at Northley Jr. High School before her election to the Pennsylvania House. Serving on the County Council from January 1996 until May of 2001, she served in such capacities as Board of Elections, the Voter Registration Commission, Support Enforcement and Parks & Recreation. She is a member of the Delaware County Economic Development Oversight Board and the Redevelopment Authority. Judge Durham is married and has one son. The Durhams reside in Concord Township.
